Commercial compressed gas cylinders

Compressed gas cylinders cannot go in the garbage. Contact the supplier or manufacturer to return the cylinder. In most cases, suppliers or manufacturers will take back the cylinder at no cost. 

If not recycled, compressed gas cylinders must be handled as hazardous waste. If the compressed gas cylinder is under 24 inches or 2 feet in length; with pre-approval it may be accepted at one of the hazardous waste collection sites.
