Biomedical waste is not accepted at the hazardous waste facilities. Most biomedical waste can go in the garbage unless the fluids are flowing or the waste contains needles, syringes or medical sharps.

Place any wastes that may be contaminated with blood or bodily fluids into a plastic bag and put them in the garbage.
